Morris McNeil Obituary

Morris worked in autobody repair and painting throughout his life and was known for his skill and dedication to his craft. He was a devoted member and Deacon at Mountain Top Baptist Church and enjoyed spending his time watching auto racing.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edgar McNeil, and mother, Alice Parr McNeil; brothers, Sylvester McNeil, Otis McNeil, and Huston McNeil; and sisters, Frances "Sissy" McNeil and Bonnie McNeil Smith.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Beatrice Saunders McNeil; daughter, Terry McNeil Cochrane (David); granddaughter, Brianna Cochrane Sizemore (Michael); great-granddaughter, Lilah Sizemore; great-grandson, Hunter Sizemore; special nephew, Kenneth Ray McNeil (Kay); and special niece, Vicky Smith Carder (Billy).
A funeral service will be held at Valley Funeral Home and Cremation Service on Monday, October 20, 2025, with visitation from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. and the service beginning at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Pastor Robert Hall will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Mountain Top Baptist Church.
