Morris was greatly missed this year at the festival. He always had a smile on his face and greeted all with his positive attitude. He always made sure he said hi to my daughter from the time she was a baby to her adulthood. We looked forward to seeing him each year. May happy memories ease your sorrow.

I´m so sorry for the loss of Morris. We went to grammar school and high school together and I remember him as a very positive person. He always greeted you with an enthusiastic hello. If you were doing any kind of group work, you wanted Morris in your group because of his can-do attitude. He made everyone around him better at whatever they were doing. My deepest condolences to his family.

Morris will always be remembered as the person who lit up the room or the beach for us. So much fun and always positive. So sorry to hear of his passing. This is a big loss.

His hugs nearly as hood as Maria's and the absolute best at softball!!!! He always made me feel accepted, loved and special. He was the kind of friend that went right back to the place you were the last time you saw each other even when you hadn't seen each other for far too long. I was so lucky to have been his friend, and to have been around the Minuskin family.
Mayra, Mari Ann,
The world was a better place because he was in it. I'm so very sorry. Other than these, there are no words.
Much love and many hugs, Kelly Bartels

I am so sorry for the loss of our great and wonderful friend. He was more than a friend; he was family. When I think about him, I see that "Smile" that makes you feel better and warms your soul. But most of all, what I am going miss is his true feeling of his heart and the way he filled anyone that was around him with "Joy". A New Star is shining in heaven tonight, because the world has lost someone who shared his Light with all of us.

My mom played in the league Morris reffed. Years later I joined the league. When we found out about the news of his passing we swapped our very best Morris stories. His character never changed and my mother and I had the same fond Morris memories over 10 years apart. A true testament to his character. My favorite quote "is there anything you can´t do?" He will definitely be missed. Thank you for the smiles Morris

My daughter played volleyball at North Avenue Beach many years ago and I´ll never forget how much of a nice guy Morris was! The first year I talked to him I thought about how nice he was, a real first class person. The next year when we went back, I wondered if Morris would be there and he was. He remembered me and we talked, joked, and laughed together. He made a great experience for our family even better and I am truly thankful for meeting him!

My heartfelt condolences to family and friends. Morris was one of the most genuinely nice people ever. His smile and positive personality will be missed at AHPD where he reffed for as long as I´ve played there.

I´ve know Morris for over 12 years since I started playing at Betsy Ross. He was an absolute icon for the AHPD league and it will never be the same. He was part referee/part hype man always complimenting players on good rallies or plays. His positivity was contagious and you could never stay in a bad mood around him. He remembers everyone´s names and always took a sincere interest in everyone´s well being. Morris is a big part of the reason people have played in that league for so long. To say he will be missed is an understatement. Hugs to his family in this hard time. He was one of the best and to quote Morris "Ladies, I´m sure of it.."

I've known Morris for over 25 years from him reffing vball. He always had something wonderful to say. Told me I never aged a day in all the years I knew him. He will be missed and remembered fondly by the volleyball. Community. He never forgot your name either.

Can´t even begin to count how many vball matches he reffed for us over the years. No matter how well or poorly a team was playing, he was always so supportive and positive...Morris will truly be missed by us all.

Morris has been in my life for more than 30 years. First as a ref at volleyball, then as a coach for my children and continually as an active member of the Arlington Heights community. His positivity was contagious, his kindness endless. All I can say is "Well played. Morris, well played!"

I've only known Morris for a short time but he was one the kindest, funniest and welcoming people I've ever met. He was kind to everyone and I'm glad he befriended me when I was just a stranger. You'll be missed Morris.

Morris was an amazingly kind man with a generous and caring heart. He set a positive, and fun tone for the Wilmette Park District volleyball league for 20 years. He was a great role model for our children and a joy to be around. We will miss Morris tremendously. There is a wonderful new Angel in Heaven.
