Morris Shechtman,
Morris passed away peacefully on the morning of April 9, 2025, in Boca Raton, FL, surrounded by his loving family. He was 91 years old.
Beloved husband of Gertrude Shechtman (née Weiner) for 65 wonderful years. Loving father of Michael (partner Jody Sternberg) former spouse Leslie, and cherished daughter Stacy. Proud grandfather of Samuel, David, and Isaac. Dear brother of the late Jerry (Freddie) and the late Kenny (the late Cookie). Proud uncle of his nieces and nephews.
Morris Shechtman was born on February 9, 1934, in Providence, Rhode Island, to David and Rose Shechtman. He proudly served his country during the Korean War and went on to build a successful career in both the insurance and real estate industries.
Morris had a gift for storytelling, a love of dancing, and a warm, magnetic presence that brought joy to everyone around him. He treasured time spent with family and friends. He had a remarkable ability to light up any room he entered.
Graveside services 10 AM Friday, April 11, 2025 at Mound Zion Cemetery, 14510 W. North Ave, Brookfield. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Jewish Family Services of Milwaukee.
Morris was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Shiva will be observed on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the home of Michael Shechtman and Jody Sternberg:
