I was sitting in church one day, after the loss of my Mother and Moses came up to me and asked how I was doing and said he had not seen me for awhile.I told him I did not feel worthy to be in church because I was bitter towards my sisters and brothers for their behavior and also angry with my Mom for not getting help for her heart condition and leaving us.In Moses wise words he said, " This is where you need to be,God knows you have a good heart, you need to let God heal you,it takes time."His kindness will never be forgotten and our loss is heavens gain...

My uncle Moses, You taught me so much as a young confused teenager.. You were a father figure I never had. And I thank God for you being in my life.. You were a role model to me.. And made me laugh so so many times.. Cracking egg shells on my knee.. tickling me making me laugh so hard. asking me to walk on your back.. Walking to the store to get your Mountain Dew.. You were an awesome uncle.. God lay you down in peace, and sleep now. The Lord made you a dwelling of safety now. Love you Uncle see u in heaven..

Faith, and all of Moses' family. I am so very saddened by this news. Although I only knew Moses for a few years, he touched my soul with his kindness and joy. I was proud to have him as a friend and the chance to audition as a guitar player for ChillFX. He surely will be missed. My prayers go out to all who were positively touched by Moses.

Family of Moses: I had the pleasure of working with him when he first started at Michigan Bell. Moses, was a man that loved God and his family. I remember his wife, and especially the girls names Faith, Hope & Joy, he would stand at my desk and talk about you all. Be encouraged, stay in the race and endure until the end. With the names you were given may GOD now embrace you with his GRACE. Carry your dad's dream & legacy on. Praying for you

Moses' love for music was drove him to learn and make music. I would have loved to join you on stage again, Mo.

Gloria and family. We experienced this type of loss a short time ago (our son). There are no words or answers that make sense. Rest in the confidence of God's love - He has you on His mind and heart. Do not let the devil torment you. He is a liar. Know that we love you and pray for your healing. Moses is now actually living a life we can only imagine.

My uncle moses was like my second dad. Every single wednesday he would pick me up for thai food and bible study. We had so much fun together. He was there for my sister and I throughout our entire lives. Most of our birthdays were spent with him. Saying I miss him is an understatement. Life wont be the same without my second dad :( love u uncle moz

Lots of memories with Moses. He was always bringing a smile to everyones face with his many funny stories or jokes. Some you had to laugh at because they were so out there but he loved to make you smile and laugh. His God-given gift to play drums was a blessing to so many. I loved that Moses would talk with anyone he came in contact with and really show you that he cared for each person. He will truly be missed. He loved us all so much and that is why so many call him Uncle Moses - he was truly an Uncle to so many because that's the way he treated us. Love you Moses! Love you Boquiren Family!

I loved the Boquiren.s from the day I met them. I cared for three little girls and nutured them as Moses did to my Son. I remember sitting on the porch when Hope was going to be born and talking about names with Moses and Gloria. We decided together that if you have a little FAITH you will have Joy and so then you will have HOPE. Hannah was a great Bible name and so it was decided that HOPE HANNAH would be the baby's name. So, my girls you must have faith and Hope in Jesus and remember the Joy your Daddy gave to you. He was such a wonderful person and father we will dearly miss him. You are in our prayers.

Mo, I've known you since I was 12 yrs old. I remember when my dad's band and yours played together. I always wanted to be as good as you. I've always looked up to you, you were a mentor to me, not only as a drummer, but as a husband and father. I'll always be thankful that you and Chuck came to all our gigs to support us, and then took time to hang out with Me Ron and Randy, after our gigs. We would just sit and listen to you guys talk and you guys were just schooling us on music and stuff. But the most important things you said were about life and being true to yourself and how to still be a man of God in the music biz. You were a great example. I'm gonna miss talking to you on FB about music, arguing over who was the best drummer. (we all know it was you). You were an incredible man I'm going to miss you. I love your Bro!

You will be missed my brother!

I have many memories spending time with the Boquiren family through out the years. I always loved going to birthday parties for Faith, they were always so fun. I remember that your dad would always dance and try to make us laugh. Your dad reached out to my family when my mother passed away when I was young. He always asked how my dad was doing. My dad always remembered the Boquiren family and would ask about Moses as well. I was excited to introduce my husband to Mr. Boquiren last summer as he is a drummer also. You will be missed beyond words and I will continue to pray for comfort and peace for the whole family.
Love, Sarah Guajardo (Turk)

I'm going to miss all of the great laughs, jokes, impersonations, that funky neck dance and all of the wonderful conversations shared whenever we went out to eat. Moses taught me how to eat a mango in my living room. I'm so sorry that my husband, Chris and I were not able to schedule our family portrait....the wall above our fireplace is still empty awaiting this photo opp Moses offered. I am very happy that I was able to share some very special times with a very kind and loving man. Moses has definitely left a wonderful taste of himself with me and my family. Thanks again, Faith, Joy, and Hope for sharing such a wonderful man with my family! He will be missed dearly. ~Michele Standifer-Bak~

Moses was truly a brother to me. He shared his entire life and family with me. Thanks girls for helpeing me so much over the years. I learned so much about drumming and music from him. He introduced me to the best Thai cuisine in the world! He got me into weight lifting. He taught me how to take pictures. He selected my first fishing rod and helped to get me started with that. When I drifted spiritually he was right there leading me back. He helped me through one of the toughest times in my life. We had so many good times together eating laughing travelling and enjoying life. My life has been truly enriched through my incredible brother!

Hope and family,
God is with you...holding you close to his heart; Jesus bears your pain and sorrows and in return fills you with love as he carries you during this time. A beautiful life that touched so many people is now gracing the presence of our dear father and is filled with his glory. May your hearts be comforted by his holy spirit and your minds at peace for a very special man loved by so many has gone home where only love and happiness abide.
All my love,
Mitzi
