Mrs. Mozelle Foster Blevins, age 88, of Boonville, passed away peacefully at the SECU Hospice Care Center in Yadkinville. Mozelle was born May 24, 1937, in Wilkes County to Turner and Mattie Staley Foster.

A devoted homemaker, Mozelle was known for her warm heart, delicious cooking, and her deep love of flower gardening. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, Mozelle was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Dwight Blevins; brothers JT, Billy, and Larry Foster; and sister Dorothy Foster.

Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law Tony and Cathy Blevins, of Lewisville; son and son-in-law Allen Blevins and Armando Aispuro of Charlotte; brother and sister-in-law Tommy and Betty Foster of Hays; sisters, Rose Seagrave and Jane McCloud, both of Wilkesboro, and Linda Bauguess of Elkin. Grandchildren, Carley Blevins Roberson of Winston-Salem, and Dr. Christy Blevins and husband Christian Kiser of Bangor, Maine; and her great-grandchild, Saylor Roberson of Winston-Salem.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 23, 2025 from 1:00-3:00 PM at Elkin Funeral Service. A Graveside service will follow at Ronda City Cemetery at 3:30PM.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice in honor of Mozelle.
