Mr. John Marzula Obituary
Funeral Services celebrating the life of Mr. John Francis Marzula, 87, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 1:30 P.M. Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Mulhearn Funeral Home,West Monroe, LA.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M until 1:35 P.M. on Saturday at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
Mr. Marzula was born in Shreveport, LA on June 11, 1938, and passed away in West Monroe, LA on January 27, 2026.
He was proceeded in death by his wife, Ann McMillon Marzula; brothers, Sam Marzula, Joe Marzula and Vince Marzula; sisters, Connie Marzula Buccola, Rosemary Marzula Fowlkes and Theresa Marzula Massey.
Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his sons Joey Marzula and wife, Jennifer and Johnny Poole and wife, Nancy; daughter, Letha Swanner and husband, Scott; grandchildren, Zachary Poole, Logan Poole Lynch, Cole Swanner, Weston Swanner, Stella Marzula, Messina Marzula and Tag Marzula; great grandchildren, Daniel Swanner and Rileigh Grace Poole.
He served in the Navy on the USS Philip Destroyer stationed out of Pearl Harbor. He retired from Bologna Brothers. He loved watching football and baseball, especially Notre Dame. He will be dearly missed.
Memorials may be made to Jesus The Good Shepard or St. Paschal’s Catholic Churches.
