Mr. Roscoe Gatewood, Jr. 71, of Simpsonville, South Carolina, was married to Theresa Hutto, transitioned on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at St. Francis Downtown. Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Roscoe Sr., and Lois Pace Gatewood Ross.
Surviving, in addition to his wife: one daughter, Dana (Sabrina) Gatewood- Nelson of Warner Robins, GA; one son, Roscoe Gabriel Gatewood, III of Piedmont, SC; one sister, Vera (Marshall, Jr.) Wynn of Mauldin, SC; two brothers, William Robert Gatewood of Mauldin, SC; and Glenn Ross of Piedmont, SC; five grandchildren, Zamir Gatewood, Rayan Watts, Maddox Gatewood, Jr., Brianna Reese and Brittany Reese; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Friday, August 22, 2025, 1:00pm at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, with interment in Greenville Memorial Gardens, 3:00pm.
