Elvis Elaine Evans, age 68, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 21, 2025.
Mrs. Evans was a cherished member of Seekers Fellowship Church
She is proceeded in death by her husband Billy Lee Evans; parents James Mahlon “J.M.” Burton and Clyde Carroll Burton and siblings; Shirley Burton, Lewis Burton, Lucy B. Knight, Louise Anschutz, and Katherine Davis.
She is survived by her son Billy Jack “B.J.” (Melissa) Evans of Bethlehem, grandchildren, Christopher James Lee Evans of Monroe, Anthony Dominic Stark of Winder, Kyle Ayden Payne of Pensacola, Fl, Kelsy Jelena Payne of Bethlehem, Kaitlyn April Payne of Bethlehem, and Zoey Melissa Evans of Bethlehem; her siblings: Frances Smith of Covington, Carlton (Patricia) Burton of Bethlehem, and Ann (Doug) Skelton of Conyers. Her love and warmth will be missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
The funeral service will be held in the chapel at Maddox Carter Memorial Home at 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 25, 2025, with Pastor Greg Anschutz officiating. Mrs. Evans will be laid to rest at Campton United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, May 24, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Maddox-Carter Memorial Home.
Flowers are accepted for the funeral service.
