Mrudula A. Patel

On December 16, 2025, Mrs. Mrudula A. Patel, beloved wife of the late Dr. Arjun J. Patel, passed away peacefully at the age of 88, surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Patel was born in Sardhav, Gujarat, India, in 1937. She earned her Master's degree from Gujarat University in Ahmedabad, India, and went on to work as a social science schoolteacher. After her marriage to Dr. Arjun J. Patel in 1967, the couple immigrated to San Antonio, Texas, in 1968, and later settled in Broome County, New York, in 1970, eventually making Vestal their permanent home.
Mrs. Patel devoted many years to her family as a homemaker and later worked as the office manager for Dr. Patel's medical practice, supporting both her family and the community.
Mrs. Patel had a deep love for people-family, friends, and newcomers alike. She found joy in cooking and in making everyone feel welcome in her home. Her laughter, warm smile, and generous spirit could light up any room.
Mrs. Patel is survived by her two sons, two daughters-in-law, two grandchildren, two brothers-in-law, three sisters-in-law, one brother, two nephews, one niece, and two nieces-in-law.
The family will receive friends at Allen Memorial Home, 511–513 East Main Street, Endicott, NY 13760, on Friday, December 19, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
