Patsy was born in Huttig, Arkansas to J.D. Grayes and Berdia Mae West Grayes on March 27, 1962.
Patsy attended Lincoln High school and continued her education at Excelsior Springs Job Corps where she received her General Education Diploma and Culinary Degree.
Patsy worked as a caregiver, she loved cooking, and spending time with her grandkids. She also loved to play card games and dominos with her family and friends.
Patsy was a devoted Mother and Grandmother, and she will be deeply missed by her friends and family and all that knew her.
Patsy departed this life on Tuesday, April 26,2022 at Saint Luke's Hospice House. Her parents, J.D. Grayes, and Berdie West; brothers, James D. Grayes, and Milton Grayes; sisters, Jennifer M. Grayes, LaWanda Billings, and Lisa Grayes; paternal grandmother, Lucie James; maternal grandparents, Willie Andrews, and Alma Andrews all preceded her in death.
Patsy leaves to cherish her memory her significant other, Walker Templeton; children, Shanta Grayes, Talisa Grayes (Michael Heaston), Shanae Hall (Marcus Simpson Sr.), and Diquan Hall; siblings, Alice F. Grayes (James Williams), Katherine R. Grayes, and John D. Grayes; grandchildren, Anna Simpson, Marcus Simpson Jr., Marshona Simpson, Michael Heaston Jr., and Skyler Grayes-Heaston, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
