Mrs. Margaret A. Thomas, 76, of Greenville, transitioned on Monday, January 26, 2026, at her residence. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late George Gambrell and Lois Blassingame.
Surviving: one daughter, Sara D. Herdsman of Virginia Beach, VA; one son, Tommy (Regina) Thomas of Pelzer, SC; four sisters, Lydia Gambrell, Mary Gambrell and Betty Gambrell, Octavia Lewis Mauldin, SC; two brothers, Calvin (Deborah) Gambrell of Greenville, SC and James (Juanita) Gambrell of Greenville, SC; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Saturday, February 7, 2026,1:00pm at Long Branch Baptist Church, Burial at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
