Munir Rafidi Obituary

Published by Legacy on Nov. 24, 2025.
Munir "Mike" Rafidi, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, peacefully passed away on November 21, 2025 at the age of 85. He leaves behind his cherished wife of 58 years, Marlene Jane (Carbon) Rafidi, with whom he built a beautiful life. Munir's memory will be forever treasured by his three children: Michelle (Ronald) Patrick, Michael (Virginia) Rafidi and Mark Rafidi. He was the proud grandfather of Natalia (Christopher) Meloro and a doting great-grandfather to Nicoletta and Vito. Munir is also survived by his sister, Siham Rafidi, and his brother, Emil (Georgette) Rafidi.
His family was the center of his universe, and he found his greatest joy in their gatherings and accomplishments.
Munir dedicated many years of service and retired from General Motors. He approached his work with diligence and commitment, qualities he carried into all aspects of his life. Beyond his professional career and deep love for his family, Munir had several passions that brought him immense pleasure. He was a lifelong and devoted fan of the Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Indians. He was also an avid gardener. He possessed a remarkable green thumb, cultivating beautiful gardens that reflected his patience and care.
Munir Rafidi's warm presence and steadfast love will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, loyalty, and deep family commitment.
A private funeral service was held for the immediate family. The family kindly requests that no flowers or gifts be sent. Your thoughts and prayers are deeply appreciated.
