Grammie, You were the most amazing woman anyone could ever know. You played such an important Role in my life. You told me frequently that you were ready to Go, and selfishly I hoped that you would be here forever. You kept saying don't cry when I die, and I kept saying that's not going to happen. I am trying my best not to cry each day, but it's not working...I feel Lost without you. Words can never express how much you meant to me and how much I miss you each day. I am Happy that you are at Peace, Life will go on, but it will never be the same without your beautiful face. I hope that you are enjoying your time with Junie, Cutchie, Eric and all your other loved ones. You gave your family an unforgettable last moment of your life here with us. The smile you had on your face before you took your last breath is what keeps me going each day. It was truly incredible. I thank you you for everything Gram...And just ask that you watch over All of us until we meet you again. I Love You with All My Heart and Miss You Dearly!!! Fly High Beautiful Angel

Dear Family, Muriel was a loving constant, in my life. The summer days, as a child, she would come to Nova Scotia, with Cutchie, Frankie, Dona, Rose, Douglas and more. Her cousin, Archie and his wife, Tillie would rent a hospital bed for Aunt Jess, in Truro and the rest of us would come and go, to the cottage. Such fun. The years Ma and Dona would come and stay with us, while we all worked on the cottage. Many adventures. The year 14 of yous arrived. A total joy. Last year, Frankie, Ma and I visited "Tootsie" and Carol. I learned so much about my family from Ma. Her indomitable spirit of work hard and have fun, is so valuable. A part of who I am, is because of her. We are shaped and moulded, into who we are, by the people who love us. Muriel taught us, we can go beyond what is in front of us. We all share an equal part of this premise. Ma's loving legacy is the wonderful family, of whom I am honored to be a part of. Thank you, Muriel. God Bless you all, Love Cousin Mary Jane....

Somehow, I thought Muriel, and her twinkling blue eyes, was going to last forever, or outlive me.
Her desire to come up to Little Dyke and stay in her cottage was something her offspring tried hard to make her wish come true. She was last here 11 months ago, when Frank brought her up.
Thinking of Dona, Doug, Frank, Rosemarie, and grand-daughter Johnna.
