Obituary published on Legacy.com by Beck-Givnish Funeral Home, Inc. on Mar. 1, 2026.
Muriel went home to be with her Lord on February 27, 2026, peacefully surrounded by her family. Muriel was born in
Detroit, Michigan. Muriel was predeceased in death by her parents, Enid and Nelson Stuckey and her brother, Detective George F. Stuckey.
Muriel graduated from Delhaas High School. She met and married her best friend, Paul Kuczer, at Capital Roller Rink in Trenton, NJ. They were married for 63 years.
Muriel enjoyed her working years at DeLavalle, RCA Laboratories, McGinnis Real Estate, Nylomatic and Princeton Applied Research.
Muriel followed in her brothers' footsteps and joined the Bristol Township Police Department. She loved her work there but felt she needed to be home with her girls.
Muriel was a member of Emilie Methodist Church and most recently, Fallsington United Methodist Church. She was also a Sunday School teacher at Emilie Methodist Church and guided her girls as best as she could.
Muriel loved socializing with her family, especially her great-granddaughters. She also enjoyed gardening and playing cards with her best friend, Paul. Muriel was also a master seamstress and always dressed her girls in matching outfits. Paul and Muriel also enjoyed many family celebrations at Georgine's. If you got a new job, a raise, or a new pair of shoes, we all went to Georgine's.
Muriel also loved traveling to Nashville, West Virginia, Florida, Michigan, Cancun and Punta Cana and always shared great stories of the people she met there who loved to share stories about their culture and their families.
Muriel was known in the family for having the most spotless perfect windows-and she would be sure to make this a priority, no matter what, and kept a spotless home for her family. She always had beautiful meals ready for anyone that would happen to visit. In her younger years, when her girls were riding their bikes in the neighborhood, she would always be happy to share fried chicken she was preparing in the garage for anyone that came through on their bicycle.
Muriel is survived by her husband of over 63 years Paul Kuczer, and her daughters Karen Elizabeth Appleby (James) and Patti-Mae Michalchuk (Joey). She is also survived by her grandchildren Matthew James Appleby (Beca), Julie Elizabeth Sofia (Louis), Joel Paul Michalchuk, and her perfectly wonderful great-granddaughters Maddy Appleby and Mia Sofia. She will also be missed by her princess Kimmie who brought so much fuzzy-butt joy, beginning during COVID.
