Muriel Skarin Obituary
Muriel is survived by her children David (Brenda) Skarin, Kimberly (Doug) Hoffer and Dean (Roseann) Skarin; her sisters Joanne Klietz and Sandra Lepore, and sister-in-law Marquetta (Skarin) Bruce. Cherished grandchildren are Eric (Gailan), Evan, Kristy (Alec), Blair, Ryan (Khristine), Stephanie (Diogenes) and great-grandchildren Tyler, Daniel, Stella, Charlotte and Noa.
Muriel was a proud nurse and volunteer, long time member of Bethany Lutheran Church and the American Legion Auxiliary Board, and assistant activities director at Americana nursing home. In addition, Muriel was a consistent presence at all of her children's musical and athletic activities, and an enthusiastic supporter of the Chicago Cubs and the Northwestern Wildcats.
Donations to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and The Humane Society of the United States are appreciated.
Visitation will be at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, 516 S. Washington St, Naperville, Friday, January 12 from 4-8 pm; Service at Bethany Lutheran Church, 1550 Modaff Road, Naperville, at 1:00 pm with short visitation immediately prior. Internment at the Westside Cemetery, Batavia after the service.

I met Muriel at the wedding of my sister Gailan to her grandson Eric in Keystone, Colorado. Muriel was so incredibly loving and our deepest condolences to Kim (Doug) and her entire family.
