MURRAY JOHN VARMALL

Murray John Varmall entered eternal rest at Ochsner Medical Center Main Campus on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at the age of 70. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Shrewsbury, LA. Murray was employed as a laborer, and a former employee of D&S Janitorial Service. Beloved father of the late Murray Majola. Devoted grandfather of Murisha Mojola. Son of the late Murray A. Varmall and Helen E. Tureaud. Grandson of the late John and Alberta Hall, Alex and Enola Varmall. Bother of Keith (Connie) Varmall, Michael (the late Denise) Varmall, Dexter (Cherline) Varmall, Kenneth (Jada) Varmall, Alvin (Regina) Varmall, Diane Varmall, Karen Jenkins, Mary (James) Johnson, Stacey (Stanley) Davis, Jerilyn (Anthony) Williams, Sonora (Darrell) Jackson, and the late Clifford Varmall. Nephew of Ethel Hall, and the late Rose Hall, Florence Varmall, Stella Edwards, Clyde Varmall, Ricknell Varmall, John Hall, and Albert Hall, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 10:00a.m. Rev.
