Myra Adsitt Obituary
Adored and adoring wife, loved and loving mother, endeared and endearing sister---and for years the sunny, smart and sassy dynamo of the Geneva post office---Myra was born in Penn Yan, N.Y. to parents Leo Sr. and Rose Del Rossa.
Myra is survived by her husband Rick; and children Kody and Emma; and her beautiful lab, Taz. Also, brothers Alan (Joyce), Rocky (Virginia Robinson), Jeffrey (Mary), and Michael (Braedy) Del Rossa. Also, sisters Elizabeth (Jerry) Masters, Michelle (Eric) Sheldon, Dale Wood and Marcia (Tim) Gunkler.
Myra was preceded in death by her parents, Leo Sr. and Rose; and brother, Leo Jr. (Butch) Del Rossa.
Myra graduated from Penn Yan Academy and the Community College of the Finger Lakes, and was recently retired from US Postal Service. Anyone fortunate enough to befriend Myra was blessed by her lavish generosity; she loved to share and give.
Myra loved to dance---especially with Rick, the love of her life---but also with anyone in range of her whistle, which could be heard blocks away. And Rick is listening.
Memorial donations can be sent to any Alzheimer's Assocation. A gathering is planned for some time in the future.

Dear Rick, Cody. Emma and beautiful families..I´m so very deeply sorry for this news of Myra´s passing. My heartfelt condolences to you all. Myra always made my day brighter whenever I saw her! She visited my clothing shops often and would always share stories of her siblings and growing up, how much her children and husband were her whole world. My heart breaks for you all! Myra worked for me at The National Bank of Geneva. I will always remember her smiles, her joyful personality. She made working together so much fun. She was a very caring and giving soul. I worked with Myra at National Bank of Geneva and she was so much fun to work with and always had great customer service. I would then see her at the Post Office, and she never changed always smiling and a positive attitude.

I worked with Myra at the National Bank of Geneva many moons ago. I remember how smitten she was with Rick and the beautiful smile and laughter she always shared so willingly, including every time I saw her at the post office. Her infectious personality always shone bright!

I had the wonderful privilege of working with Myra when I was Postmaster in Geneva. She was a phenomenal worker who would tackle any task without even being asked. Her infectious smile and easy laugh would brighten the day of any employee or customer. As great an employee as she was she was an even better daughter, sister, wife and mother. She will be missed by all and may God hold her and her family in his arms. Rest in Peace Myra.
