I happened to be glancing through the Salem News online tonight from my home in Hillsborough, NC and noticed Myra's passing. My mother, who was a nurse's aid at Newhall Nursing Home in Salem was a loving friend of Myra's for years. She was such an extraordinarily caring, loving woman and a faithful friend to my mother who passed away several years ago in Salem. I have a feeling it was my mother who guided me to this notice this evening. You are so very fortunate to have had such a truly wonderful lady in your family.

I met Myra at Hunt when my mom was a patient there. She was a wonderful sweet lady who I always enjoyed visiting. May her journey be peaceful. My condolences to her family. Paula Webb
