Myrna Lois Blevins Patterson

Myrna Lois Blevins Patterson, age 90 of St. Elmo, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025. She was born to the late Paul Blevins and Mattenai Autry Blevins in Rising Fawn, GA, was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area and was a former member of St. Elmo Baptist Church. Myrna retired from Bi-Lo in 1999 after many years, volunteered at the St. Elmo Elementary School Library and at the St. Elmo Baptist Church-VBS. She enjoyed cooking on Wednesday nights at the church and for the members of the Red Bank Lions Club. Myrna was always willing to spend the day with kids, skipping school to rescue a puppy, get some Krystals or Little Debbies. She was always willing to cook her special chicken casserole and all the fixins for Sunday lunch. Myrna was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Conrad Patterson; sister, Arlene Blevins; brothers, Lanny (Marjorie) Blevins, Gary (Sharon) Blevins, Duane Blevins, and Garnett Blevins. Myrna is survived by her loving children, Tena (Tony) Chandler, Pam (Mike) Smith; Larry (Traci) Patterson, and Patti (Keith) Headrick; grandchildren, Todd and Travis Chandler, Dr. Shannon (Kyle) Tiebout, Taylor (Carrie) Patterson, Clay (Jamie) Patterson, Hanna Ditzel and Tiffany Douglas; great grandchildren, Johnna, Jose, and Jasper Conrad Patterson, Emaline and Elizabeth Scout Patterson, Cecelia Myrna and George Cullie Tiebout; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at the Chattanooga National Cemetery, with Chaplin Steve Moore officiating. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Chattanooga Nature Center or Reflection Riding Arboretum & Nature Center.
