Myrna Karen Colliver of Guthrie, Oklahoma, passed away July 31, 2024, after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Shasta, California, on December 10, 1942, to Jim Belt and Goldie (Jones) Belt.
Myrna loved to sing. Her secret desire was to become a singer/songwriter. She studied some writing in college, but decided making a family and raising her kids were her first priorities. She also owned and operated her own trim service business for almost 30 years from which she retired in 2004.
Myrna enjoyed gardening, and she loved spending quality time with her great grandbaby, CW, and raising her two other great grandchildren, Bailee and Anthony Bressler.
Myrna was predeceased by her parents, Jim and Goldie; brothers, Donnie and Jamie; sister, Joan; son, Mike Colliver and grandchild, Georgia.
Myrna is survived by her daughter, Leslie Colliver-Ferrin; granddaughters, Monica and Amanda Colliver; great grandchildren, Bailee and Tony Bressler and CW Fretz; sister, Valarie; brother, Russel; other relatives and a host of friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024, 11:00 a.m., at AE Funeral Services Chapel, 603 W. Independence St., Shawnee, Oklahoma 74804.
