Myron Lee Jacobs, 83, of Bellefontaine, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025, in Logan Acres Care Center, Bellefontaine.
He was born in Galion, Ohio on August 10, 1941, the son of the late Raymond and Clarabelle (Crawford) Jacobs. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Carole Smith.
He is survived by two sons, Ron Jacobs and Michael Jacobs, his grandchildren, Heather (Andy) Erickson, Courtney (Roger) Collins, Makenna (Eli) Kuntupis, his great grandchildren, Owen Kuntupis, Addy Erickson, Finn Erickson, Lucas Erickson, Alana Collins, Lincoln Collins, Zane Collins, two brothers, Rob (Lynn) Jacobs and Raymond (Jane) Jacobs, and two nieces, Krista Jacobs and Karla Jacobs.
Myron graduated from Kenton Senior High School in 1959 and worked many of his years managing the Community Market Grocery Store on N. Main St. in Bellefontaine (formerly Great Scott & Albers Grocery). He enjoyed caring for his garden and keeping a well manicured lawn. He loved taking his Corvette to car shows all around.
There will be a visitation for friends and family on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 from 10am to 12Noon at the Eichholtz & Daring Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main St. Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311. Private burial will be in Rushsylvania Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Logan County Animal Shelter (Behind the Badge), 284 County Road 32 S, Bellefontaine, OH 43311.
