Myron "Mike" Mikaelian

Myron 'Mike' Mikaelian, 86, passed away peacefully at his home in Pasadena, CA on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.

Myron was born in Racine, WI on July 31, 1939 and spent part of his childhood in Chicago, IL. He graduated from William Horlick High School in Racine in 1958 where he was known for his art skills and telling stories. In 1962 he married Elizabeth (née Mikaelian). He served in the US Army at Fort Sill, OK from 1963 to 1965. He enjoyed a 40+ year career in banking at the North Side Bank in Racine and at First Financial/Associated Bank in Milwaukee, WI. For many decades, he 'flipped' houses and small apartment buildings and in the 1980s, he obtained his real estate licenses. After retiring from banking in 2004, he moved to Ft. Lauderdale, FL where he enjoyed the warm winters and made many new friends. In February 2024, he moved to California to be close to his children.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Lisa (Charlie) Daniels of South Lake Tahoe, CA; his son Jason Mikaelian of Monrovia, CA; his daughter Talynne (Gyasi) Henderson of Altadena, CA; his grandchildren Holly Daniels and Alynah and Jaydah Henderson; nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and many dear friends. He is preceded in death by his daughter Laurie Lynn; parents, George and Adrienne Mikaelian; sisters Mary Mikaelian, Ione (Kenneth) Felbab, and Lee (Greg) Srabian; uncle and aunt, Charlie and Goldie Minasian; and many loved pet dogs and cats.
