Michael Mikaelian, 73, of Valhalla, NY passed away peacefully on September 27, 2024. He was born on September 24, 1951 in the Bronx, NY to the late Rose and Michael Mikaelian. Michael was raised with his four sisters, Diane, Sandra, Ginger and Rosanne. Michael was married to Jane Mikaelian and was a loving and generous father to sons John and Matthew.
Mike lived a full and fruitful life. Growing up his family and friends called him "The Bosco Kid" given his love of chocolate milk. He graduated from Christopher Columbus High School in 1969 in the Bronx, and then went on to become a Master Plumber.
He was often referred to as "Mr. Moose" and "Mike the Pipe" by all. As an entrepreneur, he owned several different businesses; APlus Plumbing, West Star Fuel Oil, and even a deli named "Valentines" for a short time in Mount Vernon. In later life, Mike became a Realtor selling homes in Westchester, NY and Atlanta, GA. Mike's obsession for staying fit started his passion for weightlifting which ultimately enabled him to compete in body building shows which featured him as "Mr. Scarsdale." Mike also shared a love for automobiles, his first investment buying a 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle. From then on, he only owned Cadillacs and was notorious for keeping them in mint condition.
Mike never went anywhere empty handed. In fact, he visited with both arms full, as we used to say, "here's Uncle Mike...abbondanza" whether it was cakes and pastries, gifts and presents or wine and liquor. He loved socializing at his favorite restaurant Knuckleheads.
Michael Mikaelian is survived by his sons: John and Matthew (Christina), sisters: Diane (Tony), Sandra, Ginger, and Rosanne (Joseph). Mike is survived by seven nieces, five nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
May his soul Rest in Peace.
