Myrtle C. (Ramyad) Brown, 84, died unexpectedly at the Boston Medical Center South, on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, after a short period of failing health. Daughter of the late David and Emelda (Dewan) Ramyad, she was born, raised and educated in Princestown, Trinidad. In 1957, she married Gregory L. Brown and together they shared over 68 years of marriage and raised 3 beloved children. In 1968, they moved their young family to Boston and settled in Roxbury. They later spent time in Dorchester and Mattapan, before settling and raising their family in Sharon in 1975. Myrtle worked for the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Medical Center in Boston for many years and retired over 20 years ago. Known as “Darling” to her family, Myrtle enjoyed cooking and music, crossword puzzles, movies, crocheting and sewing. She loved her time tending to her beloved rose bushes. Above all, she was dedicated to her family and cherished the time spent with them.

In addition to her husband, Gregory L. Brown of Sharon, she is survived by her two daughters, Sandra Brown Frazier and her husband Monte of Philadelphia, PA and Carol Brown of Sharon, and was the mother of the late Keith Brown.  She was the grandmother of Derrick Frazier and Angelique Frazier.  Myrtle was the sister of the late Merle, Sybil and Jean and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
