Judith A. Brown, 83, Two Harbors, died Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Diamond Willow-Lester River.
Judy was born October 31, 1942 to Werner “Van” and Ruth (Woollen) Larson in Two Harbors, where she grew up, attended school, and graduated in 1962. She lived in Two Harbors and Minneapolis for most of her life. She was employed as an accounting clerk for the Lake County Highway Department, St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth and twenty years at Park Nicollet Medical Center in St. Louis Park. After retiring in 2003, she returned to Two Harbors.
Judy was a dog lover and enjoyed the companionship of several dogs throughout her life.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, William Brown; a son, Gregory (Suzanne) Hatcher; a daughter, Janine (Daniel) Pierce; a step-son, Nicholas (Julie) Brown; several grandchildren; a brother, Jeffrey Larson; a sister Darlene (Giles) Dalbec; and her dog Sammy.
The family would like to thank the staff of Diamond Willow-Memory Care and Gentiva Hospice for the wonderful care they provided. A special thanks to Jayden at Diamond Willow who served above and beyond for Judy and her family.
