Myrtle Llewellyn Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Myrtle Florence Llewellyn, 88, of Christmas, FL who left us peacefully on November 27, 2024, surrounded by her family. Born on April 18, 1936, in Wabasso. Florence was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She married the love of her life, Richard Llewellyn, on May 20, 1956. Together, they shared 67 years of love, laughter, and unwavering support. Their life on the family farm was one filled with hard work, joy, and a deep sense of community. Florence was a homemaker at heart, managing the farm, raising her children, and caring for her family with grace and dedication. Her home was always a welcoming place, filled with the aroma of home-cooked meals and the warmth of a loving heart. Her strength and wisdom were a constant source of comfort for her family, and she leaves behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, and devotion. She was also an active volunteer in her community, always ready to lend a hand or a listening ear.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Vernon Llewellyn, and parents, Aubrey Partin and Myrtle Partin.
She is survived by her son, Larry V. Llewellyn, daughter, Teri L. Reynolds, grandchildren, Justin Westerman and Cierra Westerman, great-grandchildren, Davin Westerman, Connor Westerman, and Dwight Westerman, and sisters, Emma Lee Robinson and Mary Partin, all of whom were her greatest joy.
Visitation is Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 10:30am to 11am with funeral service starting at 11am at Christmas Cemetery Chapel, 23643 Christmas Cemetery Rd, Christmas, Florida 32709.
Interment will follow at Christmas Cemetery, Christmas, FL.
Arrangements are by Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (Winter Park Chapel).
