Myrtle Mae Urban, 98 years old. Port Charlotte, Florida resident since 1986.
Passed away Friday May 17th 2024 at North Port Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Born May 26th 1925 in Sanderson Florida, the only daughter to George and Lovie Canova. Attended Sanderson High School. During WW2 worked at
Jacksonville Naval Air Station. A printer by trade she also was employed in retail sales. An avid bowler and sports enthusiast she participated in league bowling, softball and basketball.
Survived by son Gene and daughter-in-law Connie Hilliard in Hudson, Florida and daughter Millie Frazier in Port Charlotte, Florida; 9 grandchildren; 17Great Grand Children and 2 Great- Great Grandchildren.
Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband Don, children Roxanne Martin, Benny and Kelly Ford and brothers Don and Elmer Canova.
Following a brief service at Cedar Creek Baptist Church in Sanderson, Florida
Wednesday, May 29th at 12PM she will be laid to rest at Cedar Creek Cemetary.
