N. Joanne Hamilton

N. Joanne Hamilton, of Duncannon, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2025 at Stonebridge Health & Rehabilitation Center at the age of 82.

Born on January 21, 1943, in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of the late N. Woodrow and Mary (Miller) Sheibley.

Joanne was employed as an Account Manager for M. Brenner & Sons, for many years, and later worked at the Sled Works, in Duncannon, until the time it closed. She enjoyed being outdoors and working in her garden as well as watching Penn State football.

Joanne is survived by her daughter, Karen Roush and stepdaughter, Kim Hamilton Meeks; grandchildren, Brad Roush, Brent Roush, Anthony Brown, and Nicole Enochs; and great-grandchildren, Princess Quimada, Julian Brown, Michael Enochs, Kameron Roush, and Eliana Brown. She is also survived by her brother, Barry Sheibley and his wife, Penny and sister, Terri Kenee and her husband Jay as well as several nieces and nephews and her extended family. In addition to her parents, Joanne was recently preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, William J. Hamilton, on November 20.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for her viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. on Monday January 5, 2026 at the Ronald C.L. Smith Funeral Home, 325 N. High Street, Duncannon, followed by her funeral service at 11:00 A.M. with CeCe Novinger, officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Duncannon.
