Nada Barash Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Mercy Funeral Home LLC on Apr. 16, 2025.
In Loving Memory of Nada Mamo Barash August 11, 1976 – April 12, 2025 Dear Family & Friends, It is with heavy hearts and unshakable faith, we share the passing of Nada Mamo Barash, who entered eternal rest on April 12th, 2025 at the age of 48 after a courageous battle with colon cancer that was fought for the last five years. Nada fought her battle in Arizona and had the upmost trust in her care team at Mayo Clinic who did everything they could to guide her treatments. Nada always dreamed of more for her children. She believed deeply in the power of education and worked tirelessly to make sure her children had every opportunity she never had. She held wisdom, resilience, and an unmatched devotion to her family. Her children were her greatest pride, and she poured everything she had into raising them with love, values, and strength. Her world truly was her family-and everybody always felt that. Every sacrifice, every long day, every late night-she did it all for her husband and children. Nada was a radiant soul-full of life, laughter, and love. Her smile lit up every room, and her joyful spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She had a rare gift for making people feel like they are a part of the family. It's impossible to think of her without remembering her laughter, her smile, and the way she embraced life with open arms. Even in the face of illness, Nada remained a fighter. And it wasn't just her family who felt her love and happiness-Nada had a special way of drawing people to her, no matter where life took her. She loved her friends deeply and held them close to her heart. From Arizona to Michigan, from her neighbors to her TikTok friends, she built a circle of support that was as vibrant and loyal as she was. Regardless of where she was, there was always a group of people who loved her, encouraged her, and stood by her. She had a rare gift for friendship, and she made people feel like they belonged-because with her, they did. She faced every challenge with incredible strength, unwavering faith, and a heart full of hope. Her courage inspired all who remained by her side and her resilience was a reflection of her deep trust in God's plan. Nada was a devoted wife, mother, grandma, daughter, sister, and friend. She is survived by her soulmate and husband Atheer Jamil Barash. Daughters and Son-in-Law's: Alanda Barash (Siavosh) Naji-Talakar, Aleena Barash (Tim) Champion and Alexia Barash (Stevan) Shallal. Grandchildren: Andoria, Alaurian and Andavian Naji-Talakar. She is the devoted daughter of the late Gorgees Mamo and Amira Shafou and cherished sister to: Neran Mamo, Jinan Babani, Iman Kakoz, Montaha Asmar, Ahlam Barash, Huda Al Saour, Husam Mamo, Salwa Attalla, Shatha Yako and the late Laith Mamo.
Everybody will forever carry her spirit in their hearts and live by her example of faith, joy, and love. Nada's time on earth was a beautiful gift. Though she is no longer with us physically, her light, laughter, and love will shine on eternally.
