Nadia Browning, 87, of Dyersburg, died Sunday, December 7, 2025, at her residence. Born February 27, 1938, she was preceded in death by her parents Bruce and Elizabeth Bane Ennis. She was a lifetime member of First United Methodist Church, where she served as Secretary to the Pastor for a number of years, and continued serving on numerous committees and teams until the time of her death. Nadia was a member of the Community Bible Study for several years and was a member of the Dyersburg Garden Club. She retired as Medical Office Manager at the Women's Clinic, then Dr. Jerry Jernigan's office.
Nadia was affectionately known to her family as "Ninnie". A true guiding light for all in which she was such an incredible inspiration of faith, love, kindness, and a true follower of Christ. Her strength and trust in God after losing Bobby and Bill will forever be how we all should lives our lives.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 11, 2025, at First United Methodist church officiated by Rev. Steven Lefebvre and Rev. Dr. Mary Beth Bernheisel with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday beginning at 11:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
Milton Weatherford, Lowell Beck, Jimmy Scott, David Hayes, Matthew Brown, George Goldsby and Allen Whitson will serve as pallbearers.
She is survived by her husband, Jake Browning; her brother, Bob Ennis (Lisa) of Ripley; nephews, Lyle Ennis (Aimee) of Houston, TX, Robert Ennis (Angela) of Atopka, FL,; great-nephew, Sam Enns of Atopka, FL: nephews, Jason and Tim Browning of Bartlett; nieces, Rebekah Ennis of Ripley; great-nieces, Presley Ennis, Sarah Moore (Josh) of Houston, TX, Libby and Isabelle Ennis of Atopka, FL and Katie Ennis of Austin, TX.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sons, Bobby Hutson, Bill Hutson and their father, Bobby Hutson.
The family requests memorials be directed to Pastors Discretionary Fund at First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 452, Dyersburg, TN 38025-0452.
