John Nick Reeves

John Nick Reeves, 94, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at his residence. Born October 2, 1931, he was preceded in death by his parents, Theo King and Mae Bell Hilliard Reeves. He was a member of Finley Baptist Church and retired as a National Park Ranger. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 8, 2025, in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home officiated by Brother Trevor Sewell with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery. Members of the Deacon and Yokefellow of Finley Baptist Church will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Monday beginning at 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. He is survived by her daughter, Vicki E. Misener of Dyersburg; one son John N. Reeves, Jr. of Dyersburg; three grandchildren, Tammie Odenbrett (Randy), Ken Misener, Christopher Misener (Jenna); five great-grandchildren, Emily Odenbrett, Robbie Odenbrett, Hailey Odenbrett, Carson Misener, Rhylin Misener and various nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Peggy Marie Brashier Reeves; three brothers, Willie Lee Reeves, Ewell Theo Reeves, Alvin Hayes Reeves; and his son-in-law Michael Misener.
