Carolyn Price

Mrs. Patricia Carolyn Price, of Ridgely, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at her home. Carolyn was born August 20, 1946 and was a life-long resident of Ridgely. She retired after a career spanning over 30 years as a loan officer and manager for the Bank of Ridgley. She was a devoted mother and wife, an avid reader and loved shopping trips. She and her family were long-time members of the Ridgely Church of Christ. She was an inaugural graduate of Lake County High School in 1964 and every year, she hosted a reunion of her school classmates, sharing in fellowship, memories, meals and music, requested from a local radio station.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, of nearly 60 years, Sammy Price, her son, Scott Price, a sister Virginia Hearod and was loved as "Nana" by her grandsons Nick Price (Emma) and Ben Price and great-grandchild, Shiloh Price. She is lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews; Sandy Cagle, Kathy Upson (Bobby), Mitzi McNabb, Mike Dial and Delane Dial and her in-laws; Kelly Price (Julia), Ronnie Price (Penny) and Cindy Caldwell (Jim). She is preceded in death by her parents, Will and Bertha Hearod, her mother and father-in-law; Lawrence and Elizabeth Price, her brother Gene Pope and sisters Ruth LeDuke and Billie Dial.

Friends and family are invited to gather for a memorial visitation on Sunday, December 7, 2025 from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. at the Dyersburg Funeral Home Ridgely Chapel.
