Nadine Isom

Lillian "Nadine" Isom, age 86, a longtime Daisy, OK resident. She was born on Monday, February 13, 1939, to Ed and Dorothy (Rains) Fite, at Sardis, OK. Nadine passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025 at McAlester, OK. She graduated High School. Nadine served her community of Daisy, OK in many ways, at the Daisy Volunteer Fire Dept., as Postmaster and relief Postmaster for over 20 years, and as a hairdresser. She enjoyed helping her friends and neighbors. She married C.H. Isom on July 6, 1955 at McAlester, OK. They celebrated 64 years together before his passing on September 13, 2019. Nadine was a member of a non denominational church in McAlester for many years. She gave her life to the Lord at an early age. She has served diligently for many years.
Nadine is survived by her daughter, Debra Ludlow and husband Rick of Daisy, OK; grandchildren, Nakita Baker and husband Jason of San Antonio, TX, Erik Ludlow of Daisy, OK; great grandson, Jayden Baker of San Antonio, TX; foster daughter, Linda Burleson of Atoka, OK; foster grandson, Adam Burleson of Stringtown, OK; nieces, Janet Fite of Hartshorne, OK, Jodi Fite of Hartshorne, OK; nephews, Justin Fite of Oklahoma City, OK, Jason Fite and wife Angela of Hartshorne, OK, Jarrod Fite and wife Kendra of Whitesboro, OK, Steven Fite and wife Joanna of Holdenville, OK; special great niece, Charlotte Kindred of Daisy, OK; special cousins, Freida Burleson of Daisy, OK, Lula Mae Rains of Daisy, OK; along with numerous great nieces and nephews, many other relatives and special friends and neighbors.
Nadine was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Dorothy (Rains) Fite; husband, C.H. Isom; brother, J.D. Fite; great niece, Jamie Horstman.
