Nadine Pascatore Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home on Mar. 13, 2026.
We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Nadine L. Pascatore, on Friday March 13, 2026 in Jamestown. She was born on August 5, 1957, in Geneva, Ohio, and raised in Ashtabula, where she graduated from Harbor High School. Her life took her through many communities - Meadville PA, Randolph, Jamestown, and Kennedy, NY- and she formed lasting friendships everywhere she lived.

Nadine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Phillip Pascatore, on January 19, 2025; her parents, Aletha Grace Luce and Edward M. Sanborn; and her sister, Diane McCandless, on February 1, 2021.

She leaves behind her children Laura Michelle (Michael) Watson, and Julie Nadine (Jason) Swartz both of Gerry NY, Gregory John (Cindy) Saeger, and Geoffrey Michael (Roxanne) Saeger both of Jamestown NY. She is also survived by her siblings Edward M. Sanborn of Bruce, Wisconsin; Leslie M. Sanborn of Union City, PA; Vanita M. Walters of Randolph, NY; Clifford F. Sanborn of Linesville, PA; and Joyce E. Weber of Meadville, PA and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Nadine loved deeply and lived wholeheartedly. She cared for her late husband with devotion and cherished her children and grandchildren, speaking often with pride about each one. She was especially proud of her granddaughter Charleigh and her accomplishments. Her home was always filled with warmth, conversation, and the dogs she adored. Her love for animals even led her to complete a 12 week Dog Obedience Training School.

She was never afraid to try something new. Whether co owning a children's gently used clothing store with her sister Vanita - where her outgoing personality shined - or chopping and hauling wood for the family's wood stove, Nadine approached every task with determination. Her love of animals began early - a gift from her mother - and she cherished her beloved pony, Midge. Her family never quite understood how she managed to stay on that pony's back, even when Midge bucked wildly, but Nadine always held on with a mix of courage and pure determination.

Nadine worked for the Jamestown Public School District as both a school bus driver and later a custodian, taking pride in serving her community. Her faith in her God, Jehovah, was central to her life. She worked hard to share her beliefs with others and even tried learning foreign languages to reach more people in her ministry.

Nadine will be remembered for her strength, her kindness, her resilience, and the love she poured into everyone around her. Her family and friends will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

A private family gathering will be held in the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home in Randolph. To send an online condolence, please visit www.vanrensselaerandsonfuneralhome.com.
