Michael David Luce, 62, of the Country Estates, Randolph, passed away, unexpectedly on Monday, February 23, 2025 at home of natural causes.

He was born November 14, 1963, in Jamestown, the son of the late Kenneth Robert and Colleen Anne (Smith) Luce

Mike was a 1982 graduate of Randolph Central School and retired from the Resource Center in Jamestown, where he was a Job Coach. He was also a longtime employee of WCA Hospital in their cleaning department.

He was a member of the Kennedy Methodist Church and enjoyed farming, gardening, fishing, hunting and just being outdoors. He was a collector of ceramic dogs.

Mike is survived by a sister; Linda Gambrell of Jamestown, three brothers; Dale (Karen) Luce of Pittsburgh, Timothy (Gina) Luce of and Patrick (Derae) Luce all of Jamestown. He is also survived by four nieces and nephews; Ronnie (Heather) Gambrell, Matthew (Amanda) Gambrell, Arianna (Jared) Voight-Cherna and Katy (Sean) Gess, and 7 great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, K. Robert "Bob" Luce and Colleen Anne Smith Luce.

The family will receive family and friends from 10 AM to 11AM, Friday, February 27, 2026 in the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church Street, Randolph,

from where the service will start at 11:00 AM. . Pastor Jennifer Delahoy will officiate. Inurnment will be at a later date in the East Randolph Cemetery where he will be laid to rest with his grandparents Ervin and Katherine Smith
