Nadine Culver Wimbrow passed peacefully on June 19, 2025, at Peregrine Senior Living in Salisbury, MD, after a brief illness. She was born in Salisbury on April 2, 1937, to William Robert Ross Culver and Madge Mason Culver.
Nadine graduated from Wicomico Senior High School in 1955 and married John Adkins Wimbrow on November 15, 1957. Together they had three children: Lisa (Troy), J. Scott (Juanita) and Dina (Daniel).
As a mother and grandmother, she was very engaged in the schools and activities attended by her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed her time with the Junior Board, where she was honored with a lifetime membership, Homemakers, Asbury United Methodist Church Women and playing in several bridge groups over the years. Nadine is survived by her husband, her children and their spouses, and her grandchildren: Jonathan, Scott A. (Brooke), Morgan (Andrew) and Meredith.
A funeral service will be held at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury on Saturday, June 28th, with visitation from 9 to 10am and the service to begin at 10am. Interment at Wicomico Memorial Park will take place immediately following the funeral service.
The Wimbrow family extends gratitude to Dr. Lorraine Jarrah, Nadine's Coastal Hospice nurse and supporting team, and the entire staff at Peregrine Senior Living for their outstanding care and compassion.
Memorial donations can be made to Coastal Hospice, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or a charity of your choice.
