Naimah Amatulla Rahim

Naimah Aquela Amatulla Rahim, "Mom Ida", was born on July 31, 1942, to Clarence Athaniel Dexter and Beatrice Britt Purnsley in Bridgeville, New Jersey. She departed this life on Tuesday, January 23, 2024.
Naimah was employed as a nursing assistant at Hillside Nursing Home and retired after years of dedicated service.
Naimah was a member of the Redemption Church. She enjoyed reading her Bible and worshipping the Lord.
In her spare time, Naimah enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, talking on the phone, and watching her favorite soap operas. She also loved sending greeting cards.
In addition to her parents, Naimah was preceded in death by her siblings, La-Mont Britt, John Britt, La-Zette El Britt, and son, Vernon Gibson.
Naimah leaves to cherish her memory, her siblings, Robert Dexter, Betty Green, Arnold Britt, Linda Garland, Bronto Britt, De-Norris Britt, Justo Britt, and Harold Purnsley; her son, Lafrance Gibson; 10 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
