Darryl J. Welty, age 84, of Highland, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 31, 2025.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Monday, September 8, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road, Highland, IN 46322.
Additional visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Grace Church, 3025 Highway Avenue, Highland, IN 46322, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM.

I knew Darryi from the late 50's early 60's we hung around at the Powwow drive in in Hessville. Lots of good times back in the day. I lost contact with for years. Then ran in to him when he hired in at Inland Steel and working at 7 blast furnace, more good times. He also did some AC work at my home for all most free of charge. Great Guy. He will be missed.
