Nan Eleanor Driggers Leviner, 81, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025, in Columbia, South Carolina. Nan was born March 16, 1944, to Annie Lou Kirby Driggers Carpenter and Allen McSwain Driggers who have preceded her in death.
Nan lived most of her adult life in Bennettsville, South Carolina where she and her husband raised two daughters. Nan was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Nan loved to spoil her four grandchildren with countless shopping sprees, long lazy days at the beach and going to the water park with them. She especially loved taking them to various dinner theaters. She was a walking encyclopedia of sports, and her Atlanta Braves knowledge was unmatched.
Nan began working at First National Bank shortly after she moved to Bennettsville. As Nan's family moved for her husband's career in Education, she transferred to other banks throughout the Pee Dee and Coastal regions of South Carolina. Nan had a very successful career of over 40 years in the banking industry. She retired from Carolina First Bank in Marion, South Carolina as a branch manager and Assistant Vice President. After retirement, the couple moved to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and lived there until 2023.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. Roy Jerry Leviner formally of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; daughter, Kim Leviner Tolar (Lynfield) of Columbia, South Carolina; daughter, Allyson Leviner English (Clint) of Bennettsville, South Carolina; grandchildren, Margaret McSwain Tolar and Frank Lynfield Tolar, Jr; Tiffany Amber English and Hannah Elizabeth English ; sister, Sybil Driggers Tisdale (Walter Clyde) of Kingstree, South Carolina and Deborah Driggers Wilkes (Joe) of Hartsville, South Carolina.
A graveside service will be held at 1pm, Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Sunset Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
