Nancy Hanks Ahl

Nancy Hanks Ahl, 86, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, first married to the late Lynn Wayne Graham, and widow of Gilbert F. Ahl, died Saturday, February 17, 2018. Services will be held in Raymond, Illinois at a later date. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL. Nancy was born August 25, 1931 in East St. Louis, Illinois, daughter of the late Kenneth Hanks and Birdie Carl Hanks. She was a graduate of Raymond High School in Illinois, and resided in Illinois until 1983, when she called South Carolina her home. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Pawley's Island, SC. Nancy will always be remembered by her sweet nature, her ability to always see the good, and her unending understanding and generosity. She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Cook (Benny) of Mount Pleasant, SC, Cheryl Graham of Goose Creek, SC, and Dr. Beverly Graham (Dr. Chris Geyerman) of Statesboro, GA; her son, David Graham (Carla) of Pawley's Island, SC; four granddaughters, Nancy Grace Cook, Emily Lynn Cook, and Betsy Quirin, all of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and Kate Daugherty of North Charleston, SC; her grandson, Tyler Norris of Goose Greek, SC; and six great-grandchildren, Lochlynn, Reagan, Ford, Graham, Colyn, and Sally.
