Nancy Jane Alexander, 76, of Lubbock passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023, in Lubbock, Texas.
Jane was born July 20, 1946, in Hemphill, Sabine county, TX to Clarence Edwin Campbell and Faye Elizabeth Marshall. She was raised in El Paso and graduated from Ysletta High School in 1964. She graduated from UTEP with her teaching degree in 1967. She married Paul Wayne Alexander on May 22, 1968, in El Paso.
Jane married her high school sweetheart in 1968. Jane and Paul shared 54 years of marriage. They moved to Lubbock in 1977 where Jane continued her teaching career. She and Paul enjoyed raising their children in Lubbock where they continued to enjoy their retirement.
She enjoyed reading, road trips, watching football and most of all spending time with family. A teacher for 50 years, she touched the lives of so many and was much loved by her students and coworkers alike.
Jane is survived by her sister Elizabeth Gilreath of Durrant, half-sister Helen Joy Campbell, her daughter Amy Krystof and son in law Carlos Krystof of Austin, her son Robert Alexander of Lubbock, and three grandchildren, Connor, Emma, and Scarlett. She was proceeded in death by her parents Faye Lefler and Clarence Campbell, brother Charles Campbell, and precious husband Paul Wayne Alexander.
Celebration of Life Memorial Services will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, January 12, 2023, in the Combest Family Memorial Chapel. Pastor L. J. Wright, of New Home Baptist Church, will be the officiant. Memorial services and cremation arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Combest Family Funeral Homes and Crematory.
