Nancy Alvarez Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Pine View Mortuary - Saint George on Dec. 18, 2025.
St. George, Utah- Nancy Claudia Alvarez was 56. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on December 13, 2025. She was born May 24, 1969, in Belflower, California to Ingrid and Frank Alvarez. Nancy never married, but she had seven daughters: Veronica, Christine, Claudia, Angelica, Baby Nancy, Amanda, and Crystal.

Before she became ill, she was an early riser with her hot cup of coffee. She enjoyed Family gatherings, camping, she loved to laugh, fishing, thrift store shopping but most of all she spent a lot of time in Mesquite. She loved to Gamble and when she won, which was more often than not, she was not selfish, she would buy anything that was needed for her family. Nancy worked for Old Navy for a little while, but the job she missed the most was cleaning houses.

Nancy loved music and some of her favorite songs were, Butterfly Coupe, Boyz in Da Hood, Por mi Mexico, A milli, Jaded and Flowers by Miley, Death Bed, Bad at Love, Nothing Else Matters, Big X The Plug, Grupo Exterminacer, Chalino Sanchez, El Toxico Grupo Firme and Carin Leon.

Her favorite color was Blue. She enjoyed football, her favorite team was The Cardinals. Her favorite thing to cook was albondigas. She loved anything with butter, lots of butter. She also had a sweet tooth, but it wasn't for sweets, it was for sour things. She loved anything sour and the chewy sweet tarts.

Let's not forget the love she had for dogs. Benji was her whittle boy. It's hard to write such a short snippet about our mom that was so loved. What I will miss about her the most is the kindhearted, funny, true friend that loved deeply and was so selfless. My favorite memory will always be her doing that cabbage patch in the car and always having a bag of candy with her.

What I think people will miss about her the most was her willingness to do anything and everything for anyone. Her sense of humor and talking like a Baby. Her smile and her laughter. She was never selfish she always said money was meant to be spent.

She looked forward to Halloween because she loved to get dressed up to hand out candy to the kids that would come to the door. She also loved everything about Christmas. Decorating the house, Putting the Tree up, buying everyone gifts and looking at the lights. The week before she passed, we went and looked at all the Christmas lights and had hot chocolate. A memory that will never be forgotten.
