Washington, UT - Shauna Mai Gibson Pollock, age 76, passed away on February 5, 2026, in St. George, UT. She was born August 8, 1949, in Idaho Falls, ID to Russell Wilmer Gibson and Verda Mae La Fever. Shauna spent her childhood in Idaho where most of her time was with aunts who she adored.

After graduating from Madison High School, she moved to Nevada to live with her father, which is where she then met her husband, Dale Pollock. Shauna married Dale Bruce Pollock in the Saint George Utah Temple on December 5, 1970. They had four children and soon after moved to Saint George.

Shauna was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-Day Saints and served in many callings such as Cub Scouts Den Leader, Primary President, Sunday School Teacher, in the Relief Society and many others.

She enjoyed cross stitch and crafting and loved holiday knickknacks. She worked at Nissons food town for many years and enjoyed getting to know all the people of Washington City. She had a love for reading and really enjoyed book club. She also enjoyed her 15 grandchildren who brought her much pride and joy.

She is survived by her children Brent (Tracy) Pollock, Trisha (Jaymon) Slaugh, Angela (Kelvin) Hafen, her grandchildren Teylor, Drake (Jenafea), Kenneth, Brodie, Karsen, Arianna, Triana, Paige (Kaleb), Alexa, Ryken, Keldon, Adella, Saige, Kamree, Ivy and Great grandchild Prue.

She is preceded in death by her mother Verda Mai La Fever, her father Russell W. Gibson,
her siblings Steven R. Gibson and Stacy Webster, her husband Dale B. Pollock and their son Derrin B. Pollock.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Friday February 27th, 2026; located at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 600 East Telegraph Street chapel. A viewing will be held prior to the funeral from 11:30am - 12:30pm. Shauna will be interred beside Dale in the Washington City Cemetery.
