NANCY AMES Obituary

AMES, Nancy Talley, 82, of Northampton County, departed this life August 17, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Ames Sr. She leaves to cherish her loving memory three daughters, Bernice Shy, Patricia A. Gilliam (Marvin Sr.) and Nanette Conover (Derick); one son, James Ames Jr. (Vanessa); a host of other relatives and friends. Remains rest at March Funeral Home, 2110 E. Laburnum Ave., where viewing will be held Friday, August 20, from 12 noon to 8 p.m., and where family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Funeral services 11 a.m. Saturday, August 21, 2010, at Ebenezer A.M.E. Church, Capeville, Va., Rev. Vanessa Copeland officiating. Interment Church Cemetery.
