Nancy Anderson Obituary
Nancy Veronica (Tobin) Anderson, 77, of Eatonton, Georgia passed away peacefully on January 1, 2026.
She was born in Hoboken, New Jersey to Stella M. and Richard J. Tobin and lived in Hazlet, New Jersey throughout her adult life until she and her husband relocated to Georgia in 2009. A lifelong animal lover, she proudly opened and ran her own pet store in Middletown, NJ as well as caring for many furry friends through her pet sitting business. She also dedicated many weekends to volunteering for the Hazlet United Soccer Association alongside her husband and son.
Nancy loved reading, visiting antique stores, gardening, watching horror movies, and caring for her many beloved pets over the years. She amassed a truly impressive collection of decorative owls and baked the world's best cookies every Christmas. Nancy maintained several lifelong friendships which meant the world to her, and she will be remembered for her storytelling, wonderful sense of humor, and bright personality.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Clayton Anderson of Eatonton, GA as well as her son Mark Anderson and daughter-in-law Alexa Ray of Atlanta, GA.
In lieu of services, the family invites donations to your local animal rescue or humane society in remembrance of Nancy's love for animals.
