Nancy Ann Baiera, 82, of Pittston Township, passed away peacefully in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township, on Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026.
Born in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Larry and Helen (Remus) Liskosky and was a graduate of Pittston High School. Nancy and her husband, John Sr., founded Color World in 1975, to which she was still actively working until her death. Nancy was also an active member of the JLW Lions Club, where she was the former president, as well as being highly involved with the Care and Concern Free Health Clinic at St. John the Evangelist Parish in Pittston. She was also one of the founding members of the St. John the Evangelist Bereavement group and served as a Eucharistic Minister within the parish, as well as many other volunteer opportunities within the Pittston community.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, John Baiera Sr.; son, John Jr.; and her sister, Rosemary Klein.
Nancy is survived by her son, Gary and his wife, Michele; grandchildren, John Baiera III and wife, Becky; Elizabeth Baiera and fiancé, Trey Piscitelli; and Josh, Taylor, and Kelsey Baiera; great-grandchildren, Olivia and Gio Baiera. She is also survived by her sister, Helen Rebovich; and several nieces and nephews.
Nancy's family will remember her great cooking and all the family get-togethers, especially the Wednesday dinners at her home. Family meant everything to her. She was always there for every member of her family, whether it be a baseball game, dance recital, field hockey game, or general support.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Graziano Funeral Home Inc., 700 S. Township Blvd., Pittston Twp.
Calling hours will be held at the funeral home from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday in St. John The Evangelist Church, 35 William St., Pittston. Those who plan on attending are asked to go directly to church the morning of the funeral.
Interment services will be held privately at the family's convenience. Nancy will be laid to rest in St. Casimir's Cemetery, Pittston.
