Nancy Baird, 88, a proud and longtime resident of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, went home to be with Jesus on May 5, 2025. Nancy was born on November 14, 1936 to Mildred and John Heiser. She is preceded in death by her parents; her sisters Kate McMillen and Betty Hendrickson; and her husband, Lew. She is survived by daughter, Lisa (John) Jenkins; daughter, Lori (Doug) Auckland; son Dave (Lori) Baird; grandchildren, Courtney, Kalee (Scott), Shane (Kaitlyn), Kyle (Abby), Kristen (Anthony), Jason (Brandi), and Ashley, and nine great grandsons. Nancy was a lifelong member of United Methodist Church. After she retired, she and Lew volunteered for Meals on Wheels, and she volunteered completing office work for the Church and was part of the Women’s tea ministry. Nancy loved spending time with her large family and her many friends. She enjoyed any type of game, from bowling to golf, cards or horserace. She attended many of the great-grandkids’ sporting events and was their biggest fan. Nancy also loved time spent on vacations at the beach, whether with friends or family. She enjoyed every morning sitting at the kitchen table reading her newspaper and enjoying her cup of coffee, and at night, before bed, eating a bowl of her favorite mint chocolate chip ice cream.

There will be a visitation on Monday May 12, 2025 from 12pm to 1pm with the funeral service immediately following the visitation at the Clifford Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front Street, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.
