Many years have passed since the day we met
Many memories lasting from the day we wed
I'll keep the porch light on as you did for me
You waited up at night till I came home to thee
I remember well the softness in your face
Into my arms you fell until morning's haze
The veil of life separates the one who leaves
We are stranded on this Isle to grieve
Till we meet again upon those distant seas
Stay safe and warm wherever you may be
I'll light a clay oil lamp to keep the memory of
Pray the Lord may grant and welcome you with love
No one can er replace no one will ever be
No other has the face of my dear Nancy

It was a joy working with you in the Finance Dept at UT Southwestern Medical Center. We first met for the first time when you retired. You happily trained me on your responsibilities, sharing with with me shortcuts and contracts. Never an unkind word and with a giving heart you always made sure the Department candy bowl was plentiful. I looked forward to hearing of the wonderful countries you vacationed. I will always be grateful for your return to UTSW, stepping in to help where ever needed. Rest well Nancy :)
