Nancy Beard Obituary
Nancy Jane Beard, age 73, passed away on January 28, 2026. She was born on April 1, 1952, in Brainerd, Minnesota, to Roland and Lorraine (Norman) Flansburg.
Nancy had a generous heart and a deep love for her community. She volunteered her time at the Salvation Army and the Senior Center, always willing to help wherever she was needed. Nancy worked in the restaurant industry for many years, including West Side Café, The Barn, and Passport. She enjoyed listening to old country music, playing cribbage, and, most of all, spending time with her family.
Nancy will be lovingly remembered by her children, Darrel (Annette) Lambert and Jessica (Dennis) Olson; her three cherished grandchildren, Christian, Makenna, and Warren; and her siblings, Kevin (Penny) Flansburg, Tim (Tammy) Flansburg, Jerry (Jo Ann) Flansburg, and Paul Flansburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roland and Lorraine Flansburg, and her sisters, Carol Latham and Sharan Kong.
Nancy’s kindness, quiet strength, and devotion to family will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
