Nancy E. Beimler

Newport, RI - Nancy E. Beimler, 88, entered into Eternity on March 1, 2024. She had been the devoted wife of William C. Beimler for nearly 66 years.
Nancy was born in Manchester, NH, on July 8, 1935, as the daughter of Edward and Loretta (Labelle) Cousins and younger sister of Norman Cousins.
Nancy grew up in Manchester and attended Nursing School at Saint Anselm's College with residency at Elliot Hospital. Nancy married William on May 18th, 1957 and moved to New Haven, CT. with William, and later to Wallingford CT. where they raised their family. She served as a nurse at Yale New Haven Hospital.
After retiring, Nancy and Bill moved to their beloved Cape Cod. They served "Meals on Wheels" for 16 years together in Dennis, MA. They also enjoyed many more years of boating, trips to the beach, being an active part of The Dennis Union Church family, and making wonderful memories with family & friends.
Nancy is survived by her husband William and their beloved sons; Douglas Beimler and their daughter-in-law, Melyssa, of Middletown, RI and Jeffrey Beimler of San Diego, CA, and three treasured Grandchildren, Madison, Lauren, & Maxwell. Nancy was also a very proud Aunt to several esteemed nieces and nephews. Nancy enjoyed sending thoughtful cards to all of her cherished family & friends, baking, trivia, and playing games. She treasured her family above all else and will be dearly missed by many.
Nancy is preceded in death by her son Gregory Beimler, her parents and her brother Norman.
Nancy's family plans a private celebration of life for immediate family members and memorial service and interment at Beaverdale Memorial Park in New Haven, CT at a future date.
